I hope you'll support my efforts to help homeless pets and horses at the Dumb Friends League by sponsoring me in the 27th annual Furry Scurry.
The Furry Scurry is a great Denver tradition that brings animal lovers together for a fun walk with a very important purpose: helping the Dumb Friends League care for thousands of lost, abandoned, abused and unwanted pets and horses, and giving them a second chance at happiness in a forever home.
My pets have always played such a significant role in my life. My freshman year of high school, my family adopted Pebbles and she has been a source of comfort to me as I graduated highschool, college, and now going into the 'real world'. Even though she is not with me physically, I am able to get updates, and pictures of her from my family on a bad day and know that she is waiting for me, sleeping in my old room, to come home for a visit.
I have seen firsthand how animals can improve the lives of people and vice versa. The Dumb Friends League takes in any animal and places every healthy, safe, and social animal in a loving home. I am excited to be fundraising for The Dumb Friends League, knowing that they are focused on improving both the lives of the animals they help and the people they serve.
If animals have brought you as much joy as they've given me, this is your opportunity to show some love to homeless pets and horses and change their lives for the better.
Thank you so much for helping me make a difference. I appreciate your support!
