Hello to my wonderful friends and family out there!
As the Special Events Coordinator, I hope you'll support my efforts to help homeless pets and horses at the Dumb Friends League by sponsoring me (and of course my lovable Luna) in the 27th annual Furry Scurry. Because I will be working the event LITERALLY from dawn till dusk, I cannot walk the event this year or any year. Instead, my physical activity efforts will be directed towards something I have grown to love ...cycling.
This year, I will be participating in my first ever century ride (100 mile bike ride in one day) in Castle Rock, Colorado on Sunday, June 7th: The Elephant Rock Ride. Since this event is one month after the Furry Scurry, I wanted to still fundraise to an organization I love while challenging myself and being pushed to my limits. No, Luna will NOT be cycling with me, but I wanted you to know what I am cycling for: homeless pets. The Dumb Friends League cares for thousands of lost, abandoned, abused and unwanted pets and horses, and giving them a second chance at happiness in a forever home - JUST LIKE MY LUNA! I truly believe in what the League does and know that every animal deserves a second chance at finding a fur-ever home.
If animals have brought you as much joy as they've given me, this is your opportunity to show some love to homeless pets and horses and change their lives for the better. My goal is to raise $1000 which I think is possible with your help. Please, donate today and stay posted on Facebook and Instagram for my cycling story updates and progress.
Thank you so much for helping me make a difference to homeless pets and horses. I appreciate your support!
Lots of Love!
