Hello and thank you for visiting my page!
I hope you'll support my efforts to help homeless pets and horses at the Dumb Friends League by sponsoring me in the 26th annual Furry Scurry.
As you know, Luna is not a dog. She's very much a cat. However, I was able to adopt Luna from the Dumb Friends League in 2017 and bring her back to her forever home. Now Luna has become part of the family and one of my fuzzy best of friends. I am fortunate enough to be a full time employee of the non-profit organization that brought me and Luna together.
The Furry Scurry is a great Denver tradition that brings animal lovers together for a fun walk with a very important purpose: helping the Dumb Friends League care for thousands of lost, abandoned, abused and unwanted pets and horses, and giving them a second chance at happiness in a forever home. This event attracts over 12,000 people and 5,000 dogs to Washington Park. This year, the event is going to be held on Saturday, May 4th, and I am hoping to get my friends and loved ones to donate $2 each, representing the years Luna will have been a part of our little family. My fundriasing goal is not much, but my personal goal is to get homeless pets and horses to their forever homes just like I brought Luna to hers.
If animals have brought you as much joy as they've given me, this is your opportunity to show some love to homeless pets and horses and change their lives for the better. I fundraise for the Dumb Friends League because I want to give back to a mission that I believe in. I hope you can find it in your pockets to donate $2 to these animals. Please, help me reach my fundraising goal and to get these lovable animals the proper care and treatment they deserve. Working with our compassionate community, we will end pet homelessness and animal suffering.
Thank you so much for helping me make a difference to homeless pets and horses. I appreciate your support!
Love, Brittney (and Luna)
