Dear Friends and family,
I hope you'll support my efforts to help homeless pets at the Dumb Friends League by sponsoring me in the 24th annual Furry Scurry - our 7th year of participating. My goal this year is to raise $1500 to help animals in need.
We adopted our dog Lucy 6 1/2 years ago and she's brought us a lot of love. Most recently, we adopt a cat I named Cali who has the same coloring as Lucy.
No donation is too small and it's tax deductible!! Many people ask where their donation goes: $50 helps buy jars of baby food for cats during confidence building behavior sessions; $75 help provide cheesesticks and hot dogs to reward fearful dogs during Canine Courage training; $125 can help provide kitten formula, litter, bedding and medical supplies for a kitten in foster care; $250 can help cover the cost to spay/neuter two cats; $500 helps investigators respond to an animal mistreatment or neglect situations; and $1000 can help treat seven puppies for parvo, a life-threatening virus.
If animals have brought you as much joy as they've given me, this is your opportunity to show some love to homeless pets and change their lives for the better. Be a voice for those who cannot speak.
Thank you for your consideration and support in helping me reach my goal.
