Many companies and organizations offer matching-gift programs that are designed to support employees who give to nonprofit organizations. With a few easy steps and proper documentation, your company or the company of people who support you may double or even triple your Wag `n Trail donations.

If your company matches, you may be able to access the forms directly through the search. Follow your company's matching-gift procedure, and the Dumb Friends League will be happy to assist. The impact of your gift may be doubled or possibly tripled! Some companies match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.
You can also check the company’s website or ask its human resources manager whether a matching-gift program is in place or could be established.
All donations given in support of the Wag `n Trail are credited toward the total fundraising goal of the hiker soliciting the gifts.
The matching-gift process may take several weeks, depending on the payment cycle of the company involved. The first step in most cases is that a request form is completed by the donor and submitted to the Dumb Friends League. We send that paperwork to the company for approval. Although the process may take some time, the impact that matching gifts have toward your fundraising goal and toward our ability to care for homeless pets at the Buddy Center is well worth the time.
