What kids learn from a deaf dog named Malakai

Nine-year-old sweet Malakai craves love and affection from people and generously returns what he receives. Animals are no different from humans in that as they age, their body changes. Paws and painting

What do you get when you mix budding animal activists like Jane Goodall combined with Bob Ross painting wannabes? The Dumb Friends League Acryl-Licks! workshop, of course! The League’s new paint and pets workshop is created for kids ages 8-11 years old and includes a DFL 101 lesson and a shelter tour. Artists choose an animal to paint, and all artwork will be kept by the League and given to each animals’ adoptive family, while participants leave with a photo of them with their masterpiece.
