Spring Break One Day Critter Camp at the Buddy Center
Children in third – sixth grades can come to explore the amazing world of animals. This session runs April 2 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT MY CHILD TO LEARN?
Our goal is to teach children about compassion and respect for the world around them. By giving kids a rewarding experience working with animals and learning about animal welfare, we will provide them with lessons to help them make responsible decisions regarding the animals and people in their lives.
From pets to local wildlife, we’ll cover it all! Your child will have fun learning how to be safe around animals and work hands-on with ambassador dogs to learn training techniques. Experienced and enthusiastic staff, and, of course, some critters, will give your child a day of learning through activities, games and crafts.
WHERE DOES THE PROGRAM TAKE PLACE?
Camp will be held indoors and outdoors at the Buddy Center, located at 4556 Castleton Court in Castle Rock.
HOW MUCH DOES CRITTER CAMP COST?
Camp costs $50 for the day. This includes all of the activities and crafts. This fee is used to pay for staff supervision during the camp and to further help the animals.
(Due to preparation and staffing costs, all camp fees are non-refundable.)
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Please send your child to camp with a snack, water bottle, and cold lunch (microwaves are not available). We require all campers to wear closed toe shoes. Please bring your child's completed waivers, as they are required for participation.
WHAT OTHER DE-“TAILS” DO I NEED TO KNOW?
Enrollment is limited to 15 campers per session and spaces are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
When a spot is reserved for your child, you will receive a confirmation email with all the information you need, including dates, times and waivers
