The Dumb Friends League has a history of service. For more than 100 years, we have sheltered and cared for lost, abandoned and abused pets.

Think you know cat and dog behavior?  

This free conference is designed for animal shelter staff and volunteers, as well as members of the public, whether you’re a lifelong cat/dog lover or a first-time cat/dog owner.

The Behavior Conference will cover topics including:

  • Science of learning
  • New scientific discoveries on cat/dog behavior
  • Cat/dog body postures
  • Cat behavior
  • Dog behavior

There is no fee for this conference.

The three-day conference will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day, with a one-hour break for lunch. The conference is for people only. Please leave pets at home.
